'Technology for Effective Governance of Institutions’- Foradian at the 11th CII Regional Summit on Quality in Education

The Confederation of Indian Industry or CII recently hosted a regional summit on Quality in Education with the theme “Technology for Higher Education” on the 14th and 15th of November at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore. The event, sponsored by Foradian focused on economic growth, skill development, education, investment, manufacturing, the ease of doing business and entrepreneurship as growth enablers.
In its 11th edition, the regional summit saw the presence of industry and education experts including Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities, Senior VP-TVS Motors, Mr. Kovaichelvan, Senior Consultant from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Pradeep Kaul, VC from Amrita University and many other prominent speakers who shared their thoughts on Integrating multiple technology for Higher Education system.
One of the speakers at the event was Foradian’s AVP-Channel, Rajni S Pillai who shared her thoughts on ‘ Technology for Effective Governance of Institutions’, and how Fedena has gained success in this segment. In her talk, Rajni shared her opinion on how to improve the quality of education and that it has to be a trigger from the governance of institution across the country. It’s high time for a move from governance to e-governance in education, and her statement was supported with enough example- Fedena implementation in 15,000 schools across the state of Kerala as a part of Project Sampoorna, initiated by the Government of Kerala and how it changed the entire management of these schools. Fedena not only created a platform for a centralized process but facilitated transparency to the management, principals, headmasters in terms of performance of students and teachers.
Rajni, on behalf of Foradian viewed how the world education system is moving towards Cloud computing and an ERP on cloud will not only increase the efficiency of administration of an institute but also the overall performance of students and faculty. Overall, in order to take Indian education to a world class level, we need to ensure that our students and faculty have an ease in attaining knowledge and for this, we need to have the latest technology in place.
